If your vehicle has been damaged and in need of repair, you need to take it to a spray painter after its damaged parts have been replaced and repaired by the vehicle body repairer. Spray painters will complete the repair initialised by the body repairer. They will make the appropriate finishes that will turn your damaged car into brand-new again.
Also called vehicle spray painters or vehicle body refinishers, spray painters help repair a damaged vehicle by applying a paint finish to it. Typically, they undertake spray painting jobs to cover blemishes and to make a new coat on the vehicle.
Spray painting is the technique used by spray painters to apply a new coat of paint to damaged automobile. It is done with the use of a device such as an air gun spray or paint spray.
The first thing that spray painters may do upon receipt of the car from the body repairer is to inspect and clean the repaired area. They will analyse what they need to complete the repair and may at times discuss with the car owner and the manager about what should be done with the vehicle. The owner may have some specifications on the painting job that is to be done.
Before pushing through with the spray painting job, spray painters will first smooth the surface of the metal with special sandpaper. Sometimes, a machine may be used for sanding. When the surface is already smooth and shiny, paint may now be sprayed. The spray painter needs to apply several coats of paint on the metal to keep it from rusting and to come up with the desired effect specified by the owner.
Spray painters may use acrylic urethane, acrylic enamel, lacquer, chrome and metallic paint for their spray painting job.
